Bowl of red earthenware with white slip and painted under a clear lead-glaze. Pronounced foot-ring, convex sides. Inside is painted with a peacock-like bird to the left and stylised flowers. A cable-pattern runs round the inside of the lip, and a dotted wavy line round the outside.
