Heavy ceramic dish with reserve-paint. 2 blues and black. The glaze is blistered with black specks inside the base ring which has a hanging hole.

The flowers in the well consist of two lotuses, three peonies, one chrysanthemum, The peony also alternates four times with four chrysanthemums in the open brackets round the centre. A continuous nine-lotus scroll with spiky leaves and the odd curly dot runs round the outer well.
