Description: woven silk and metal thread. Satin ground woven with a flat silver metal strip used as a weft thread. The warp is white silk and the main wefts are yellow, light red and brown silk. Brown lines form a generous lattice with large and small round yellow flowers along its length and a yellow star-like flower where the lines cross. Each segment contains an upright stem with yellow and red roots, leaves and buds and a three-petalled yellow and red flower. In addition the above information, it should be noted that a section has been pieced in the upper left hand corner and that there is a band of light red and orange along the lower edge, marking a loom piece.
