Bowl of fritware painted in blue and olive-green on a white slip covered with a clear glaze. Shallow bowl with low sides and a narrow slanting rim. In the middle is a rosette of interlaced ornament in dark blue and olive-green with a turquoise-blue centre. Round the side and rim are three concentric zones of kufic characters in blue arranged in groups with scrollwork on small clusters of dots in olive-green in the intervals. The outside is painted with radial stripes, alternately blue and olive-green.
