Design: Field: dark blue ground with central white lobed medallion outlined in light blue and blue and containing a red rosette outlined in dark blue. Rest of field has Herati design with a yellow blossom within a red diamond and green leaves (see 300-1884). The curving leaves are red, light blue and dark blue. Main border: red ground with a double meander with dark blue stems and large rosettes joined with a blue and yellow double meander and with smaller rosettes in red, light blue and dark blue. Inner and outer borders: yellow ground with floral meander on a dark blue stem with predominantly red and blue flowers. The lower border has been joined on and is, in fact, a side border from a similar carpet.
