Design: Field: red ground with what appears to be a segmented meander with mainly dark orange and blue large blossoms between pairs of white, dark green or dark blue leaves. There are half blossoms and foliate features along the sides including 3 pairs of light green trees which bear a bird inside a square medallion. There is one isolated white bird in the lower part of the right hand side. Main border: dark blue ground with pink floral meander with serrated leaves and white buds. Inner and outer borders: yellow ground with floral meander on dark blue stem with light red flowers.
Üretim Kurdistan. The design is reminiscent of a main border pattern. Could there have been a pair of carpets to either side of a large carpet with this type of border?
