Pot of fritware, of globular shape, with decoration carved through a black slip under a turquoise glaze, with an inscription in Arabic round the top and a row of narrow vertical stripes round the base. The inscription is translated as 'Fortune joy peace enjoyment pleasure and joy be your lot'.
