Plate of fritware, shallow, with flanged rim decorated by a band of diaperwork in blue. The cavetto is coloured black and decorated with eight cartouches in sgraffito . A dense scroll band with fringes surrounds the centre, enclosing three repeated motifs. Each motif contains a balustrade, lotus flowers and the top half of a gazelle. Three S-stems with a central lotus leaf and sketchy leaves decorate the outside. Imitation Chinese "tassel" mark in blue
