Fiziksel açıklama
Fragment of a plain woven undyed linen cloth, possibly a hanging or cover. Selfbands run at regular intervals through the ground fabric (a band of three weft threads every six picks). Additional decoration has been created with looped pile, formed from picks of dyed woolen weft. The design consists of a an octagon with an eight-petalled flower, in purple and yellow wool, with a pink and red centre. Between each of the petals are alternating red and yellow-centred quatrefoils and red, pink, yellow and turquoise heart-shaped petals. The surrounding space is filled with longer pile loops of undyed linen. This design is bordered by a square frame, in purple with a yellow border, containing interlocking heart-shaped buds in red, pink and yellow.
