Fiziksel açıklama
Plain weave cotton embroidered with silk in straight stitches with pulled thread work; whitework; faced with woven silk. This may have been cut from a larger piece. There are two identical decorative zones composed of: [1] a wide band of embroidered and stylized plant and leaf forms either side of a lateral axis; [2] a narrow band of pulled thread work in small hexagonal forms either side of a row of decorative small lozenges; [c] a deep band containing 2 large open net lozenges outlined with a zigzag of straight stitches, and infills either side of small squares of 4 lozenges. Facing: Both ends are faced with bias cut white moiré silk decorated with 2 narrow pink and green stripes alternating with a thicker composite stripe of yellow, green, white, pink and black.
