Fragments of woven linen cloth and silk. Egytpian, Mamluk, ca. AD1250-1500. The linen is tabby weave, approx 30x23 tpc (sys 1 x sys 2); undyed and slightly glazed. The decoration is in coloured silk (red, light blue, green and black). Zig-zagged lines of red go diagonally across the fabric. Oval shaped motifs are within the lines and a diamond can be seen on one piece. The pieces are stained and with holes Similar to T.138A-1935.
