Fiziksel açıklama
Fragment of a plain woven undyed linen cloth, possibly a hanging or cover. Selfbands run at regular intervals through the ground fabric (a band of three threads every four picks). Additional decoration has been created with looped pile, formed from picks of dyed woolen weft. The decoration consists of a central roundel, with an inverted scalloped border with disks within the curves, in purple dyed wool. This is in turn surrounded by a plain circular border. The intervening space is filled with pile loops of undyed linen. At the top of the fragment are the remains of a wavy band in purple dyed wool, possibly a stylised vine stem, again surrounded by undyed linen loops.
