Bowl, fritware, heavily potted, of deep form, the sides moulded with deep flutes under a lipped rim, covered in an opaque celadon-coloured glaze, the base has a broad ring wiped free of glaze, with a thin matte brown wash to imitate a Chinese celadon base. The bowl may have been designed as a mortar.
