Woven silk with gold ground, small-scale repeated design of a man, in blue tunic and red hat, perched in a tree, shooting arrows at a pair of lions who are attacking his horse. Compound tabby weave, brocaded. Warp proportion: 4 main ends of Z-twisted pink silk, 1 binding end of Z-twisted apricot silk. Wefts: gold and silver thread (lamé twisted S on Z-twisted silk, yellow and white respectively), silk in green, yellow, blue, red, pink, lilac, brown and white.
