Fiziksel açıklama Woven silk satin and metal thread lined with resist and block printed plain weave cotton with silk satin facings and silk braid. Full length robe, left over right cross-over, multi-pieced with sleeves set at right angles to the body, seamed at the shoulders and open under the arms; deep square neck, assorted tapes and loops on the the lining. Dark blue silk braiding from the open elbow region to the cuff with dark blue spherical buttons. The main fabric is dark blue satin with regular lines of botehs, all facing to the right with leafy sprays at their base and at the top a small spray motif echoing the boteh outline. These details and the botehs in yellow silk which was originally silver metal thread. Twill binding. Evidence of end of loom piece in several places ie.16 yellow silk wefts in plain weave. Warp: dark blue silk, Z-twist Weft: dark blue or dark grey silk, indeterminable twist. Metal thread: silver strip open S-wound on yellow silk core. Facings: light blue silk satin around the neck, lower arm and cuffs and along all the openings. Lining: plain weave blue resist and block printed cotton; pieced. Two patterns: [1] offset pattern of flowering sprigs in white with yellow stalks and brown centre outlined in black and sections of [2] the same design on a smaller scale. There is a loom end delineated by lines of resist-printed white.
