Fragment from a woollen tunic with an angular band and oblong panel tapestry woven in purple wool and undyed linen thread. The angular band, filled with interlaced bands, has rounded ends and a small pendant roundel connected with it by a narrow strip. The roundel contains a star-shape surrounded by a zig-zag border. The oblong panel has an oval compartment in the middle, enclosing interlaced bands. The spandrels are filled with interlaced bands and there is an outer border of cresting. At one end is a twisted fringe in purple.
