Fiziksel açıklama
Pipe stem of jasmine wood overlaid with woven silk and straw-work. It has a mouthpiece of amber and enamelled gilt copper. The silk is partly blue, partly yellow; the woven decoration is in seven compartments: (1) and (4) lozenges arranged diagonally; (2) and (6) four coiled bands alternating with four bands of small crosses; (3) and (5) stars arranged diagonnaly, and partly coiled bands; a portion of the stem is expanded slightly here. The mouthpiece has three pieces of amber separated by two enamelled mounts, which are decorated with shaped compartments containing leaves.
