Fiziksel açıklama tent band, cut and made of three lengths stitched together. Brocade with details in soumak. Single, countered, vertical wrapping, irregular movements to suit pattern. WARP: white cotton; check. Pattern: wool; Z3S; 21 threads per inch (78 per dm); 16 colours, many synthetic: dark red, red, 'gold' metal around a yellow cotton core, dark yellow, yellow, dark green, green, light green, blue green, dark blue, blue, dark purple, purple, dark brown, light brown, black. SIDE FINISH: returned wefts. END FINISH: cut DESIGN: the piece is decorated in bands: five contain animals - one has a large, dark blue peacock standing over a man and another has a man leading two horned animals - six are floral and the remaining ones are basically geometric.
