Bowl of red earthenware with white slip under a clear lead glaze, and painted in brown and red. Shallow with convex sides and slightly recessed pad base. In the centre is a medallion containing a triangular pattern of half-palmettes. Round it is a band of large cufic lettering. The background is filled in with irregularly shaped panels outlined in red and with brown dots. Slip and glaze cover the exterior to the foot. Four designs in brown near the lip.
