Fragment from the thickly moulded rim of a biconical bowl, coarse yellow-buff coloured calcareous clay, painted in manganese-black slip with three border lines framing a scrollwork desing at the cavetto, covered with a thin transparent turquoise alkaline glaze. The exterior partially glazed (3.6cm from rim).
