Fiziksel açıklama WARP: dark brown and white wool plied together (2b + 1w); Z3S; 14 threads per inch (53 per dm). WEFT: white wool and white cotton; Z2S; 2-5 shoots after each row of knots; 7 knots per inch (26 per dm). PILE: wool; 8 colours: red, yellow, dark green, green, dark blue, pink, dark brown, white; symmetrical knot tied around two threads; 49 knots per sq. inch (689 per sq. dm). SIDE FINISH: 3 cords overcast with pink wool but along the lower third of both sides also in blocks of dark brown and yellow. END FINISH: Lower: incomplete; 1 cm plainweave with dark brown weft; a fringe of warp loops is 1" (2.5 cms) long. Upper: incomplete. Max 1" (2.5 cms) plainweave with dark brown weft has been turned at a later date and stitched in place. DESIGN: Field: yellow ground with a brown lattice outlined in red and enclosing a single blossom arranged across the width in bands of 2 or 3. The green blossoms are in diagonal rows. Main border: white ground with quartered diamonds inside heavily indented octagons and between them are pairs of stylised floral motifs mostly of 2 pairs of petals. Inner border: reciprocal diamond heads in dark brown and dark blue outlined in red. Outer border: reciprocal diamond heads in red and dark green outlined in dark brown. Catalogue Date: 3.6.97
