Fiziksel açıklama
Plain weave cotton, probably hand woven, embroidered with silk in straight stitches with pulled thread work and needleweaving; whitework. The two non-selvedges have been rolled and stitched in place. The central area is left undecorated with a composite border around all 4 sides; from the outer edge: a narrow needlewoven band of small lozenge forms [a] followed by a wider band of diagonal stripes of pulled thread work, edged either side by a very fine pulled thread trellis, and lozenges of straight stitch triangles, all arranged towards the centre of each side. A repeat of band [a] leads into a final edging of fine straight stitched triangles. Cotton thread: Z-spun Embroidery Thread: white silk, 2S
