Fritware, painted in lustre and underglaze blue Fritware
Fiziksel açıklama
Tile in the shape of an eight-pointed star, fritware. The central field is decorated in reserve against a ground of golden-brown lustre. The design is moulded in light relief and consists of a tree motif with two large lotus flowers at the top right and left, and simpler leaves and flowers around. The lustre background has tiny dots and spirals scratched through the lustre layer. Around the edge is a border inscription in large cursive script, the letters outlined in lustre on a white ground; the background to the border is painted in cobalt blue with the letters left in white.
