Plate of fritware, painted in cobalt blue under a clear glaze. Inside, an underlined bracketed rim leads to the six panels which cover both flange and well with six floral sprays surrounded by elongated leaves. Jewel strings ending in a tassel fill the panel dividers. In a central medallion, a pedestalled vase with a flowering plant. Seven lobed panels divided the outside and contain lozenges surrounded by a cross made up of dots. Imitation Chinese square mark in blue.
