Notes Two fragments of a tapestry woven, woollen fabric. Possibly Near Eastern, ca. AD900-1300. The warp is white and is of two tightly twisted threads, z direction. Piece 1 includes selvedge and a starting/ending border. Due to the holes in the fabric the design is hard to discern. It appears to be of red floral motifs on a blue background.
