Saddle Bags cut in Museums and the other fronts transferred to circulation 25th Jan. 1924. They have been numbered Circ. 316, 317 and 318-1924. Caucasian (Kazak) middle of 19th century. Comparisons not yet possible to make from published material. However: NB. Hali Issue 93 (1997) p. 109 advert. by Ronnie Newman for colour, design (and spirit). Also, elsewhere in Hali, mention of longer pile and soft/floppy character of Zakatala weavings (N. Caucasus). cf: CIRC. 316- 1924: differences in width may suggest two shoulder bags from one loom? also Raoul Tschebull article in Hali 75, p. 67
