Fiziksel açıklama Woven silk and metal thread, satin ground, faced with bias cut plain weave silk and backed with resist-dyed and roller-printed plain weave cotton. The main fabric has six pieces sewn together, mainly along the right hand side. The largest piece has been attached so that the design inverted. Warp: white, blue, black and red silk Weft: red silk Metal thread: silver strip open S-wound on yellow silk core. A series of stripes: [1] blue ground with boteh and boteh-shaped leaf in metal thread [2] white ground with a sinuous floral pattern in metal thread [3] black ground with two types of boteh and a trefoil-shaped flower and leaves in metal thread [4] red ground with a meander and two types of large blossom in metal thread. This has been edged on four sides with another woven silk and metal thread fabric, with a satin ground, made-up from 15 pieces. It is 6.5 cm wide and the pattern is incomplete. The ground is dark brown with large and small botehs and small cypress trees worked in metal thread with red and white details. The large botehs have a wide border and are packed with flower heads. Warp: dark brown silk Weft: red and white silk Metal thread: silver strip open S-wound on yellow silk core. Facing: narrow red silk. Backing; off-white ground with small diagonal lines creating fine vertical stripes around and between 2 main lines of pattern: [1] a white resist dyed pattern of leaves on a thin meander with green leaves and red and yellow roses and blue flowers [2] a line of unconnected motifs: a floral bunch including a pink rose and bud, blue convolvulus, yellow daisy and ear of wheat and a geometric motif resembling an ornamental belt clasp.
