Lamp of purple-red earthenware. Circular with a gently rounded bottom and low vertical sides. The top of the circle is roofed in with a circular orifice in the middle for filling, and a smaller one near the edge for the wick, which rests on a small spout formed by bending at the lip. Vertical handle loop joins the lip and the edge of the filling hole opposite the wick.
