Cup of glazed whitish fritware, painted in yellow lustre. Bulbous body with a wide short cylindrical neck, small high foot and small loop handle. The shoulder is painted with a frieze of horsemen separated by cypress-trees with conventional branches of dotted foliage in the intervals. The lower curve of the body is decorated with an arcaded design of foliated arabesques. A band of simulated Kufic characters encircle the neck outside. Inside is an inscription in Naskhy characters.
