Turban cover of plain weave cotton embroidered with laid and couched cotton in red, blue and white. there is some cross stitch in green, brown and blue silk which made have been a later addition to replace areas that had worn. The ground fabric is mnade from three pieces seamed together before the embroidery was done. The cover has a central star encircled by a red lobed medallion in its turned encircled by a blue lobed medallion. These are filled with large stylised flowerheads. This central feature fills half thground; the remainder contains large stylised floral sprigs. The stems of these sprigs are worn, revealing white cotton laid threads.
