Silk panel, woven in colours on a red ground. Small free roundels enclosing representations of the Virgin seated on a throne and holding the infant Saviour in her lap. The bands outlining the circles have a succession of heart-shaped blossoms interrupted by four rosettes. The intervening spaces contain radiating floral devices of lozenge form.
