Malzemeler ve teknikler silk thread, metal thread, weaving
Fiziksel açıklama Plain weave silk brocaded with silk and metal thread. Directional design with the top of the pattern at the bottom of the panel, so that the wearer saw the correct pattern. Displayed behind glass. Displayed upside down. Warp: pink silk. The main warp threads are paired; the binding is plain weave. Weft: Silk: pink, mauve, purple, dark green, apple green; metal thread: gilt strip S-wound on yellow silk core. Brocaded weft: Silk: light blue, dark blue, red, mauve; metal thread: silver strip S-wound on white silk core. Selvedge on right hand side: 3 cords of Z5S cotton; cut down left hand side. There is an added 3/1 twill band along the upper end. There is a border along the top and bottom: reciprocal trefoils either side of a metal thread ground with a meander of pink bell-shaped flowers alternating with blue star-like flowers. The pattern is a series of diagonal lines from lower right to upper left pattern with chevrons in pink and green. There are two sizes of stripes: [1] narrow stripes: metal thread ground with downward pointing closely-packed sprays of 3 pink flowers. [2] wider stripe with three repeating motifs on a metal thread ground: pink rose with a circle of blue and dark blue flowers; pair of leaves, central mauve flower and 3 pink roses and a rose bud; pair of small leaves, small spray of 3 carnations with many small white flowers filling the diamond shaped area.
