Plain weave cotton embroidered with silk in straight stitches. Directional design with the top of the pattern at the bottom of the panel, so that the wearer saw the correct pattern. The main pattern is a series of diagonal lines from lower right to upper left. These are chevron lines in green and dark green. There are two sizes of stripes: [1] narrow stripes: yellow ground with a pink semi-circular blossom, and iris in light mauve and yellow blossom with 4 blue dots in the centre. [2] wider stripes with two designs: [a] diamond sections, one with a yellow vase outlined in light blue; 3 pink flowers in a vertical line with blue buds and flowers; one with a similar vase with a semi-circular pink flower. [b] diamond sections, one with a diamond-shaped pink flower alternately facing bottom or to the right and one with an indeterminable pattern in yellow and dark green. There are no borders. Threads: 2S silk: blue, dark blue, white, yellow, light green, pink, faded mauve, orange, beige
