Border: pieced orange silk damask brocaded with metal thread [silver strip open S-wound on a silk core] in a floral bouquet. The damask sub-pattern is floral sprays and a stylised leaf-shape in a zigzag pattern. As the border is pieced from a long length, the repeating nature of the brocaded motifs is indistinct.
