Fiziksel açıklama Woollen carpet with Herati pattern in pinks, blues, yellow, white, brown and dark blue-green on a dark blue ground. Warp: white and brown wool plied together; Z2S; 16 threads to the inch (60 per dm); depressed. Weft: white and shades of brown wool; Z2S; 3 shoots after each row of knots; 9-10 knots per inch (35-39 per dm). Pile: wool; 12 colours: red, dark orange, yellow, dark green, green, light green, dark blue, light blue, pink, dark brown, white; symmetrical knot tied around 2 threads; 72-80 knots per sq. inch (1050-1170 per sq. dm). Side finish: one cord oversewn with red wool. End finish: missing. Design: field: dark blue ground with Herati design with one and 2 half diamonds per band and 15 offset bands and 1 half band along the length. The diamonds are dark green outlined in red. The blossom in the centre is white. The leaves bracket light green blossoms except for the bottom two rows which are blue. The curling leaves of brown, yellow and blue in the lower two thirds; in the upper third the yellow is sometimes replaced with another colour. Main border: red ground with angular floral meander with a green stem with variously coloured rosettes and a diagonal sprig of three white flowers. Inner and outer borders: white ground with floral meander on a dark blue stem and with predominantly pink or dark orange blossoms.
