Bowl of fritware painted with black under a turquoise glaze. Straight flaring walls on a tall ring foot. Painted with a harpy and foliage scrolls on a black ground in the centre, with arabesque devices in black on the walls. Rim with trilobed leaves in a 'half-moon' border, the reverse with panels of 'water weed' motifs separated by double vertical lines. Turquoise glaze is thin and patchy in places.
