Fiziksel açıklama
One of a pair of fragments of a tapestry woven panel in purple wool and undyed linen thread. The slit-tapestry woven pattern, dark on light, is unclear but includes a medallion with a zig-zag border, enclosing an unclear animal, and a human figure. Details are picked out in flying thread brocading in undyed linen thread. Tapestry weave: Linen warp (S-spun, 3/3) Wool weft (Z-spun, approx. 50/cm) Linen weft (S-spun, approx. 24/cm)
