Fragment, possibly from a mug, fritware, the upper section with pronounced rib, glazed and painted in polychrome enamels with a courtier alternating with palmettes above arabesques and trefoils, beneath a dotted band edging a Kufic-style border, in pale green, iron-red and blue, outlined in black with details in white, heightened with gold on the courtiers shoulders and above the palmette. Crazed surface.
