Part of a bowl of red earthenware, painted in sage-green, manganese-purple and red on a white slip and covered with a clear glaze. Straight slanting sides with a flat centre. Inside on the bottom is a green rosette. Round the rim are interlaced bands in green forming four cone-shaped and four alternate circular panels which are filled in with palm leaves and conventional flowers respectively. The intervals are filled in with green discs and small purple dots. The outside is painted with a border of short diagonal strokes in red.
