Fiziksel açıklama Beluch bag of knotted woollen pile. WARP: cream wool; Z2S; 18 threads per inch (70 per dm). WEFT: dark brown wool; Z-spun, 2 parallel threads - although it may have been Z2S which has relaxed; 2 shoots after each row of knots; 11 rows of knots per inch (41 per dm). PILE: wool; 4 colours: red, dark blue, dark brown, cream; asymmetrical knot open to the left, tied around two warp threads; 99 knots per sq. inch (1435 per sq. dm). SIDE FINISH: Both sides have two cords with returned wefts. Both sides have been stitched together with goat's hair in a chevron pattern to form a bag. END FINISH: Lower: 7.5 cms. decorative band of flat weave with the lower edge turned under and stitched in place. Upper: 2.5 cm. decorative band of flat weave then plain weave for the back of the bag which is also decorated at intervals with bands of pattern. DESIGN: field: hooked and stepped cream cross containing a red eight-pointed star. The cross is inside a blue ground rectangle. Main border: reciprocal blue, red, brown trefoil. Inner and Outer border: blue and red diagonal stripe. Plain weave back in dark brown goat's hair: plain and decorative bands in wool in all four colours.

One of three pieces: "They are all old pieces of good quality, and of course the price is merely nominal".
