Fiziksel açıklama Plain weave cotton embroidered with wool and silk in straight stitches. Directional design with the top of the pattern at the bottom of the panel, so that the wearer saw the correct pattern. There is a bottom border worked irregularly so that the upper edge is not a continuous straight line. The pattern of the bottom border is based on diagonal lines running from lower right to upper left. Each stripe is filled with a diaper pattern in one colour on the white cotton ground: blue, light brown, red, light brown, blue etc.. The embroidery stops before the top edge and the pattern in the top right hand part of the border is incomplete. The pattern is a series of black diagonal lines from lower right to upper left. There are two sizes of stripes: [1] narrow stripes: light brown ground with a blue or red bud on a black stem with a triangular base. These point downward. The lowest two motifs on the left hand side contain some yellow silk in the otherwise light brown ground. [2] wider stripe in two designs: [a] red ground with a sun-like flowerhead with either blue and light blue or green and yellow petals. [b] blue ground with a dark red tulip-like flower. Threads: Wool: blue, black, light brown, red; Z-spun. Silk: yellow, pink, purple, light blue, light green, orange, 2S See no. 37-1877
