Small tile in the shape of a cross, fritware, decorated in the overglaze technique known as mina'i (from the Persian meaning 'enamelled'). The background is turquoise, and is decorated in gold leaf with a vertical stem which branches into the right and left arms of the cross. The background is decorated with spirals and tightly curled leaves in a black pigment.
