Fragment from the rim of a bowl, buff-coloured earthenware, thickly potted, covered in slip, painted in manganese black with a geometric pattern of interlaced lines, within a double line border and a deep border pattern, covered in a clear glaze with details added in turquoise. Traces of glaze on exterior. Similar palette to C.244-1931, but weathered and encrusted.
