A fragment of undyed linen cloth (370mmx80mm) with a decorative band of maroon wool (7mm wide). The linen cloth is a plain weave (approx. 28x18 tpc). The tapestry band is of one colour only and three warp ends are bundled as one in this section. Some staining.

Fragment of plain woven undyed linen, with a tapestry woven band in purple wool. The warp of the ground weave is collected (two or three to one) for the tapestry warp. Areas of the wool warp threads are missing. There is a selvedge on one smaller edge of the ground fabrix.
