Fragment of the base of a bowl with attached ring foot, fine yellow-coloured alluvial clay body, covered in a tin-opacified lead glaze which is heavily speckled with grey inclusions, painted with a floreated kufic inscription in cobalt blue. The glaze is much degraded.
