Plate of fritware, shallow, with flattened rim and lobed edge, painted with Kraak -type underglaze blue decoration. In the central medallion, a duck perched on a rock beside balustrades and a flowering plant, in front of a lake. Surrounding this are six large panels arranged alternately with a flowering plant and a plantain leaf with ribbons; separated by a narrow divider of beaded jewel and diaperwork. Imitation Chinese "tassel" mark in blue.
