Sample Text
Internal inscription: Oh you, whose intent is to hurt me for months and years; Who are free from me, and happy at my grief; You promised not to break your promise any more; This you have not done is what I have done'. Richard Ettinghausen and Oliver Watson both also recorded that the bowl is dated. Ettinghausen read the date as 619/1222, while Watson read it as 615/1218. (See Ettinghausen, 'The Ceramic Art in Islamic Times', Survey of Persian Art, no.4; and Watson, Persian Lustre Ware, p.199, no.52).
