Fiziksel açıklama Silk voided, cut velvet with metal thread bordered with strips of woven silk, plain weave cotton, woven silk and metal thread and voided, cut silk velvet and metal thread, backed with plain weave silk and faced with silk satin; there are interlinings of printed cotton and woollen twill. The centre of this cover is pieced, cut silk velvet on a light green silk ground woven with a metal thread [silver strip open S-wound on a silk core]. The pattern is slightly indistinct. The white velvet creates an asymmetrical lattice with a flowerhead at each junction; the compartments contain blossoms in red and green velvet with metal thread. There is an inner border of bias cut woven silk in bues and reds [now faded] with a design of a parrot perched on a flowers and an carnation and a seated deer. This border is flanked by narrow strips of orange, yellow and black plain weave cotton. The wide outer border is striped satin: red and pale yellow with a pattern of isolated flowers; some stripes include metal thread [silver strip open S-wound on a silk core] There is a square of velvet in each corner, some have been pieced: red velvet on a ground woven with metal thread [silver strip open S-wound on a silk core]. Diamond grid with a large rosette at the junctions and with a leaf growing from the grid; the velvet forms the ground of the compartments. The inner border is interlined with a variety of fabrics: a plain weave red cotton printed with a floral pattern [possibly European], a red woollen twill and a band of plain weave brown cotton printed with a floral spray in light blue. Backing: green shot silk with black. Facing: bias cut blue satin.
