Weft: light brown (also includes pink); wool; Z2S; not depressed; 3 shoots per row; 9 knots per sq. inch (34 per dm) Pile: wool; colours: red, dark yellow, light yellow, green, dark blue, light blue, dark purple, light purple, pink, dark brown, white. Symmetrical knots tied around two warp threads. Side finish: Lower: missing but evidence of plainweave with 0.5cm of light purple wool and 1cm of dark brown wool weft. Carpet design: Field: Dark yellow ground with a central row of two lozenges, the lower with two pendants, the upper with one and two partial offset rows; the lozenges contain four red and yellow rosettes reduced to octagons and four dark blue leaves reduced to hexagons; the pendants containing one of both shapes; between these rows the ground is covered with white vertical stylised stems and small stars, mostly light blue. Main border: white ground with dark blue double meander outlined in dark purple. Inner border: red and dark purple with light purple in lower part outlined in light blue. Outer border: dark yellow with isolated motifs of geometric and animal forms.
