Woven silk and metal thread, faced with bias cut blue silk satin and backed with red woollen twill. Warp: light beige [originally pink, perhaps] silk, Z-twist Weft: white silk, Z-twist; red, brown, blue and light blue silk, all indeterminable twist Metal thread: silver strip open S-wound on white silk Four pieces joined horizontally. There is a narrow border top and bottom: brown meander with red and blue flower heads; the upper border has been stitched on. There are three bands of left-facing botehs in offset rows; there is a seam between each row. Each boteh is outlined in dark brown and has decorative red and blue roots. It contains a floral stem of blue and red flowers. There is a small right-facing boteh between the bases of the larger ones.
